Human part segmentation

I summarized some datasets about human body segmentation as follows, but no suitable dataset can be used directly. Some datasets such as ‘Look in Person (LIP)’ labeled human parts by clothing labels. There would be no specific labels on limbs if the body part was covered by clothing.

The PASCAL Person-part dataset was widely used in papers, but it only labels seven human body parts, and it does not distinguish between left and right limbs. It labels the lower leg and foot as one class and the head and neck as one class.

Therefore, I re-divided this dataset into 14 body parts, and also I have fixed some wrong labels of the original dataset.

14 body-part in revision dataset:

head, torso,

left upper arm, left lower arm, left hand,

right upper arm, right lower arm, right hand,

left upper leg, left lower leg, left foot,

right upper leg, right lower leg, right foot,
